Christopher Chilla is a Chief Financial Officer at DMC Property Management. Colleagues describe him as "Chris joined ITT Tech as part of the Manager-in-Training program, a 2-year program in which a recent college graduate works in each of the functional areas of the operation. Chris excelled in this program. Very quickly it became clear, Chris possessed wisdom and professionalism beyond his years. As my Director of Finance, Chris continued to exceed expectations. Chris asked good questions and thoughtfully processed all input and direction. He built effective relationships with his fellow managers, implemented a customer service focused team, and delivered excellent outcomes. Chris consistently exceeded his primary metrics, student financial aid package completion, accounts receivable and financial aid funding received. Each area had been underperforming prior to Chris’ tenure. He turned each metric around in under 6-months. Chris ensured every student received exceptional customer service. He arranged the hours of his team to ensure students had accesses to the financial aid team members 12-hours a day and Saturdays. Further, he built a metric driven process and held himself and his team accountable for outcomes. Chris quickly showed himself to be the strongest of my 5-functional managers. When I was off site, Chris was my Acting Executive Director. When I was promoted, Chris was my recommendation to succeed me as the Executive Director of Operations.
