I advise city departments on energy, telecommunications, and technology issues

At Coblentz, I helped entitle and implement several ambitious, challenging, and innovative development projects in the Bay Area. I provided counsel in a variety of areas including CEQA, housing laws, anti-discrimination, the Subdivision Map Act, public land disposition, and use of the right-of-way.I also helped launch initiatives as part of the firm's Innovation Committee, including piloting and adopting new tools for project and information management.

I provided advice and counsel on a wide variety of regulatory issues with a focus on environmental and land use laws. I helped developers and companies with innovative and challenging projects on issues related to land development, including entitlements, land subdivisions, environmental and brownfield issues.Additionally, I gained experience working on telecom issues, including broadband and wireless broadband projects. I have worked on issues involving facility siting, environmental review and pole attachments, and advocates before the California Public Utilities Commission on behalf of clients in telecom proceedings. I've also assisted telecommunications companies with the deployment of 5G technologies helping craft local ordinances and assisting with siting advocacy for wireless facilities. At Perkins, I also provided advice in the consumer product space on food safety regulations, licensing requirements, labeling and other regulatory issues for clients seeking regulatory compliance in their manufacturing, operations and sales.

I represented a tenant before the San Francisco Rent Board and conducted research on the San Francisco Rent Ordinance and other housing laws.

During Fall 2011, I researched land use and environmental issues involving the City and County of San Francisco during a law school externship with the City Attorney's land use team. During Summer 2010, I interned at the City Attorney's government contracts team where I examined agreements, licenses, and forms for the city.

I researched issues related to the promotion of affordable housing in the Bay Area.
