Core responsibilities included annual budgeting and cost model creation, new product development costing, management accounting and reporting, OEE tracking, ERP system administration and staff training, VAT reporting (including Intrastats), Climate Change Levy administration and aged inventory management.I am an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and was the company super-user of Sage MAS 500 and an in-house bespoke manufacturing/warehousing system, with working knowledge of SQL querying and reporting.Additional responsibilities included planning and reporting on stock takes, fixed asset register, utilities contracts and cost tracking, filing insurance claims,and liaising with external auditors.

Core responsibilities included administration and auditing of Direct Payments scheme, checking and processing received invoices, advising internal care managers and external clients, and billing external clients for homecare.Developed expertise in Direct Payments system and trained new employees. This resulted in greater efficiency and accuracy in the team.Whilst auditing and recording expenditure for Direct Payments and appointeeship/receivership clients, I identified and eliminated flaws in procedures and subsequently reduced wasteful/inappropriate expenditure.I also showed a keen eye for overcharged invoices from commissioned care companies and incorrect external client bills. This safeguarded both the council's finances and reputation with service users.

Core responsibilities included recording patient data in a new bespoke database, whilst reporting bugs and glitches to external IT contractor, ensuring proper operation of database.Independently created an operating manual for the new database, as well as personally trained nursing staff in the database's operation. This ensured a continuous level of competence with the database within the organisation once my contract ended.

Core responsibilities included advising students and parents, processing new arrivals, and chasing and taking payment of deposits and rent.I was heavily involved with open days and meeting students and parents face to face, ensuring they received accurate and sufficient advice to make well informed decisions about living arrangements.I also took the initiative to learn about the pertinent laws governing landlord behaviour and personal renting of accommodation. This allowed for more informed advice for older students renting their own homes.
