Today's engineering and business challenges are numerous and often complex, the rate of technological growth far outpaces previous generations often making it difficult for Directors and Senior Managers without an engineering background to fully understand the inherent risks in engineering programs and operations. Re-organising engineering operations to deliver high performance in support of business objectives can be daunting, often leading to businesses not addressing performance issues nor maximising opportunities within their engineering operations/programmes. I have 40 years of experience of business and engineering operations in the Global Aerospace Industry and has demonstrated his ability to successfully deliver complex operations/projects both domestically and internationally. I have successfully led organisations through major change programs, carried out design reviews on large complex engineering programs as well as championing the development of new products, engineering capabilities and technologies in the Aerospace sector. I am renowned for my pragmatic approach and his ability to clearly brief on engineering issues and risks across organisations to the highest level ensuring that employees and senior managers fully understand the issues/opportunities they face. I am now available on a consulting basis to assist businesses to address their challenges and realise their opportunities through use of his great experience, world class abilities and knowledge to support industry’s development in the global competitive environment. I am also keen to support the development of the next generation of engineers and project managers and as a supporter of our countryside and wildlife is looking to use his experience and abilities supporting organisations whose objectives are to protect and develop the environment in a non-executive role.
