Trained at Yale University, Coe began his career with Gwathmey Siegel & Associates in New York and later moved to Los Angeles with Richard Meier and Partners as project designer on the Getty Center. Later he was the founder, managing director and director of design of Arquitectonica* Los Angeles.Coe is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, a recipient of the AIA Young Architects Citation for Design Excellence, and a lecturer in the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California. His work has been recognized with national, regional and city design awards and has been featured in magazines including Architectural Digest, Interior Design, Los Angeles Magazine and in books by Thames & London and Rizzoli.
