As a 120A Construction Engineering Technician in the U.S. Army, I oversee the planning, design, and execution of military construction projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and deadlines. I provide expert advice on engineering operations, manage project resources, and ensure compliance with military and industry regulations. Leading and mentoring construction teams, I ensure personnel are trained and equipped for success. I coordinate closely with military commanders, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. I also handle quality control by inspecting project sites and resolving engineering challenges in real-time. My role is focused on delivering high-quality construction while maximizing efficiency and safety.

I was responsible for the development of tasks, lessons and program of instruction submissions to support the 12T1O ITRO course, the 12T3O Advanced Leaders Course, and the 12T4O Senior Leaders Course. I rewrote the Survey phase student handbook and designed the lessons using the experiential learning method.I received the Meritorious Service medal for my work as a course writer.

I served as the 12T Technical Engineer Supervisor Small Group Leader (SGL) of Engineer Advanced Leader Course (ALC) in the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence (MSCoE) the Army's largest Noncommissioned Officer's Academy (NCOA) My duties were commensurate with that of a Section Sergeant; responsible for the professional development, morale, health and welfare of 12 ALC students, 80 Annually. I conducted Academic Evaluation Reports (AER) for students. I planned, executed, and evaluated MOS specific technical knowledge. In total I executed 2675 hours of Program of Instruction (POI) for five classes each year.I received two coins of excellence during my one year in the position.
