• Service, inspect and repair Tangara sets.• Carry out General Inspections, Intermediate Inspections and Pre-Departure Inspections• Troubleshoot and rectify faults on running trains• Perform Modifications and Special Actions in accordance with all appropriate documentation.• Carry out duties as Health and Safety Representative. This includes safety walks, risk assessments, WHS Committee meetings and consulting at depot project meetings.

Sydenham Maintenance Centre

• Fuel and decant XPT, Explorer and Endeavour sets upon arrival at the Sydenham Maintenance Centre• Assist tradespeople with any required tasks in the repair and maintenance of XPT sets.• Inspection and functional testing of the XPT sets• Component changes including engines, cooling groups and bogies
