Growing up, I always gravitated to leadership roles in all things academically and athletically. My first true leadership position was being voted team captain of my 7th-grade football team. Even at that early age, I enjoyed being a coach, mentor, and example to my peers. This followed me through my scholastic athletic career as a named captain every year through graduation. I was the kid who stayed behind after practice to flip tires down the football field, always trying to lead by exampleStarting my career I found myself in a leadership position again as a restaurant manager. I have never had the ability to become complacent so once I learned all the lessons I could there, I moved on to a leadership position in manufacturing as a Production Shift Manager at Crescent Manufacturing. I was quickly recognized for my ability to problem solve and have a deep understanding of systems and how they connect. This led me to a promotion with the company to Quality Manager. During this time I started and finished my Associates Degree in Manufacturing Management. As soon as that degree was complete I started my Bachelors in Quality Systems.From Crescent, I moved on to a large Tier 1 automotive company with 2200 total employees. I started as a Quality Engineer with intent of moving up in the company. I received two promotions during my 3 years with the company before being let go due to cutbacks from Covid.I took that experience to another automotive company where I successfully took the company from ISO to IATF before moving on to another large organization, H.B. Fuller. The plant At H.B.F. was a start-up facility and I was brought on as the Quality Manager, during my first year I successfully built a quality management system that was ISO-compliant from the ground up before being promoted to Plant Manager. In my first year and a half as Plant Manager I led the plant to ISO certification, improved first time yield by 8% while adding 40% capacity without adding equipment.You will find that I am a data, results-driven leader with aspirations of continuously improving myself and the business I work for.
