  I am an attorney. I started my career in litigation representing secured lenders and real estate investors in some rather exotic litigation; I've negotiated with the mob and had the CIA show up at a deposition. Through my litigation experience and the relationships that I have developed with my clients, I now find myself representing my clients in real estate transactions (loans, purchases, etc.) and the hybrid transaction/litigation world of real estate investing through foreclosures and bankruptcies. After having practiced law in the real estate and secured lending world for nearly a decade and building relationships with my clients, I find myself acting more and more helping my clients, friends, associates and acquaintances strategizing on investment strategies and connecting with each other in helping put together deals.Finally, given the now established marijuana industry in Colorado, I have gained significant experience in advising my landlord, lender and real estate investor clients on the complexities of leasing or lending to marijuana operators.
