My name is Christopher, and I am currently actively looking for work. I have three part-time jobs: (1) Adjunct Instructor of English at Mohawk Valley Community College, (2) Show Notes Writer for Pro Podcast Solutions, and (3) Rideshare services for Uber Eats. Even with THREE part-time jobs, though, I am still struggling financially, even with a Master's Degree in English. I am tired of struggling and really want to start anew with an actual career that fulfills me emotionally and financially.I have my undergraduate degree in Adolescence Education (with a Concentration in English) and my Master's Degree in English, both obtained from SUNY Oswego. I was an incredibly committed student and got a 3.78 GPA as a graduate student. I also committed myself to extracurricular affairs such as Student Council and the campus's Gay-Straight Alliance.Since graduating from graduate school, I have been teaching freshman English at Mohawk Valley Community College as an Adjunct Instructor. I absolutely love what I do there - I feel my true self and at my best when I am teaching. Teaching rarely feels like a job; I am so lucky to be paid to do something that I love to do, but it unfortunately, as I said, is not financially fulfilling. It's a part-time job that I cannot live off of. It pays me approximately $10,000 per year, and at 33 years old, I am ready for a fulfilling career.In addition to teaching, I have passions for copy editing, writing, and podcasting and am open to those types of positions as well. I am an incredibly passionate, driven person, and you would not regret hiring me.
