Christopher Cooper is a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Executive who possesses a wide range of experience in corporate services, leasing, construction, acquisition, sales, development and finance, and has an impressive track record of closed real estate transactions valued in excess of $4.0 billion. Christopher has led major projects, including build to suit transactions, master plans, and incentive negotiations for Oracle, Microsoft Corporation, Xerox Corporation, Skadden Arps, Dreamworks SKG, Latham & Watkins, Prudential Insurance Company, Mellon Bank, Pillsbury Winthrop, and Clear Channel Communications. Christopher was also responsible for management of selected national and global strategic alliance clients, including Oracle, Microsoft Corporation and Xerox Corporation. Christopher, who has a law degree, began his professional career as a real estate lawyer and partner, representing both public and private sector clients for 11 years. He has acted as lead real estate counsel on numerous large transactions, including the development, leasing, acquisition, and financing of office, industrial, hospital and other health care facilities.As Principal – Regional Managing Director of the Western US Region of Avison Young, Christopher is charged with the overall operations, growth and client care for the Region, as well as mergers & acquisitions and the recruitment of senior professionals.
