• Responsible for ensuring that I provide good customer service, as well as a safe journey forpassengers on board.• Driving the Company’s vehicles in a safe, legal and professional way. Maintaining the settimetable - and not running early or late.• Always behaving in a friendly and professional way to customers and colleagues.Recognising and assisting with the additional needs of children and vulnerable adults, theelderly, infirm or disabled.• Reporting any safety incidents and accidents in accordance with First Bus reportingprocedures.• Carrying out a safety check of the bus prior to the start of journey, to ensure that any defectsare reported as soon as possible.

• Areas of study included: Navigational Maths, Celestial Navigation, Marine Law Stability &Naval Architecture / Ship Construction.• Completed 13 months at sea working on both car carrier and container ships. Ishadowed all Officers in order to assist with Navigation & Cargo operations.• My duties included: Chart correction, maintaining lifesaving equipment, testing of GMDSS,keeping watch visually/using radar and supervising stevedores to ensure the cargo wascorrectly secured.

• Assigning activities to all items ensuring they are fitted at the correct phase of the build,maximising outfit at compartment stage.• Breakdown Level 2 Activities into manageable work packages consulting with Operations toensure resources were available and correct budgets were in place using norms as a guide.• Identifying lockout equipment liaising with Procurement ensuring it is delivered on time• Working as part of a team to produce the Level 3 plan taking into consideration anyconstraints & dates set by the Level 2 project plan• Creating the Delivery Request Lists in agreement with supervisors & the schedule for myassigned area / zone• Ensure correct lead times are given in order to get manufactured items made, available &delivered on time in order to work to the 12-week plan chasing and resolving any potentialissues.• Attend meetings with Operations, Manufacturing & Procurement• Monitor & review reports such as the 12 week look ahead, Due Date Performance & otherrelated reports to measure progress & identify any potential issues• Track Enterprise Change Requests (ECRs) which have been released to Production, with anaim to complete them as early as possible to minimise disruption / cost• Providing assistance with drawings & 3D model if additional information is required

• Complete health & safety checks prior to starting job• Inspect lifting arrangements, Magnetic Particle & Dye Penetrant Inspection• Gather together the appropriate welding equipment & fully check• Link up Butts & Fillet welding on a range of contracts including Trinidad & Tobago, Type 45Warships & the current QE Carrier• Complete all jobs to the high standard ensuring the full specification has been covered &within the allotted time• Prioritise the workload for completion to allow other work colleagues to conduct their workduties• Work with various metals subject to area allocated
