Chris lives in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami with his two sons Hammett (7) and Harry(6). His distinguished 25-year creative carer is defined by its unique breadth, proven high-profile experience, and commitment to design excellence. His consulting work specializes in collaborating with architects, landscape architects, developers, artists, and civic institutions in the early phases of a design project. A leading expert in urban parks and public spaces, he also has a wide range of experience designing private gardens, corporate and university campuses, hospitality landscapes, memorials, and rooftop gardens throughout the world. A strong believer in the importance of practice and teaching, Chris has held teaching positions at numerous leading universities and lectured widely across the world. A licensed landscape architect in Florida, New York, and South Carolina, he is is a Rome Prize Winner who attended the American Academy in Rome in 2008-2009 as the Prince Charitable Fellow in Landscape Architecture. Chris received his BLA from the University of Georgia and his MLA from Harvard University.
