I am now working independently as an Approved Driving Instructor in the Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley and Walsall areas. I also work with corporate clients and I am a trainer on NDORS National Speed Awareness Courses. I was formerly Head of Boarding & DDSL at CGS, with 3 Houses comprising 120+ boarders from year 6-13, and oversaw the transition from on-site to remote learning, as well as implementing all the necessary covid security measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of boarders from around the world. I've been teaching l since 2006, when I trained in Russia. From there I have taught in Ireland, Northern Cyprus, and the UK. I am experienced in teaching Psychology (following the AQA A-Level specification, with options in Forensic, Eating Behaviour, and Gender), and EAL (preparing learners for IELTS and Cambridge Main Suite exams). Since 2009, I have worked in the Independent Boarding sector, teaching EAL and working in boys' boarding Houses. I have the BSA certificate in boarding Management, and Level 3 Safeguarding (Child Protection) training.I retrained as a driving instructor in 2021, and have been operating a successful independent driver training business ever since. I have expanded from training learner drivers to carting out fleet driver training, and since July 2024 I have been a UKROEd licensed trainer for online and classroom-based National Speed Awareness Courses.
