Helped transition a manual testing-based QA organization toward significant automation through my contributions as a tester, programmer, and mentor.-- Managed the team that developed the GUI and API test automation framework that is now used by most of our engineering department in four global locations-- Using Java, Selenium, Robot, and TestNG, contributed large portions of the automated test framework's code-- Wrote automated tests for many parts of Jive's flagship product-- Using Java, Python, and BASH, created testing and validation tools widely used by release teams, Dev Ops, and QA-- Using Jenkins, maintained test-related portions of a CI/CD deployment pipeline-- Using JSP and Play Framework, created webapps for monitoring CI/CD status-- Contributed heavily to process development and improvement within the QA organization by leading code reviews, spearheading code standards development, participating in pair programming, and providing formal and informal mentorship-- Trained interns and Jive engineers on the usage of our test automation framework-- Presented the test automation framework's architectural design, features, and implementation to internal and external audiences

Tested key parts of Oracle's middleware suite, including Oracle Business Rules (a Java-based rules engine) and Oracle Virtual Assembly Builder (a Java-based utility for migrating physical installations of Oracle middleware to virtual platforms). Wrote test specs, wrote and ran tests, and worked with development and docs teams to resolve issues revealed by testing.

Developed prototype applications for Accenture's research and development lab. Demonstrated how emerging software and hardware technologies can help solve business problems. Promoted and presented these technologies within Accenture, to our clients, and to media.
