Px Teesside Gas Processing Plant. Metering Lead/Supervisor. Responsible for maintenance and breakdowns on all Metering systems onsite. 12 systems include Gas, Condensate and NGL’s. Primary meters are Orifice Plate, Daniels USM, gas and liquid Micromotion, Endress Hauser Coriolis, Liquid Turbine Meters. Gas chromats include Emerson 700XA, 500XA, Siemens Hartmann and Braun and Maxum II. Jiskoot, OMNI, s600 and ABB Spirit X-flow computers with Emerson DMS & swinton Trust duty standby databases. Managing spares and replacement meters. Liasing with 3rd parties during audits and OGA. AEP onsite – authorised for personal electrical and process isolations.

Dimlington and Easington Terminals. Responsible for maintenance and breakdowns on all Metering systems on site. My roles here include routine maintenance and calibrations on Orifice plate and Venturi gas metering systems, condensate Turbine metering systems, liquid Coriolis, Gas Chromatographs, S600 Flow computer checks, SGC Meteor database and Integrators, Condensate and gas sampling, Maintaining and storing metering results, liaising with representatives from Perenco, BP (saltend) and the DTI/DECC during audits. Performing Authority – responsible for taking out permits and tool box talks at worksites.

Montrose Alpha Platform, Sinopec Talisman BLP project (offshore phase). Responsible for all Emergency shutdown signal loop testing & commissioning of Process and Control instruments. Building of work packs. Fire and Gas loop checks feeding back to ICSS (Invensys/Foxboro). Hot and Cold Looping. As building of Drawings, P&ID’s and Cause & effects as required. Performing Authority – responsible for taking out permits and tool box talks at worksites. Also working as part of the ICSS squad assisting Invensys Engineers with the I/O, Dynamic and SIF testing.

Zwijndrecht Holland

Heerema Zwijndrecht Holland, Sinopec Talisman BLP project. Responsible for all Emergency shutdown signal loop testing & commissioning of Process and Control instruments. Working to a permit to work system to ensure all tasks are carried out to company safety standards. Project day to day responsibilities are working with vendors monitoring, assisting and signing off completed loop tests. Carrying out inspections where required and raising punch list items to ensure all work has been carried out to specification.

Aberdeen

Ad-hoc position for CNR on the Ninian Central Platform. Systems include 4 Oil streams, Fuel Gas Import, Brent separator metering. S600 flow computers (dual streams). Flow computer checks and updates of logbooks. Daily reports and checks i.e chromat Calibrations, Carrier gas bottle checks feeding their Danalyzer chromat.

Seconded to BP, Chevron Texaco, Nexon and Conoco Phillips. Working onshore and offshore(manned platforms and satalites). My roles here included Routine maintenance and calibrations on Orifice plate gas Export metering, Fiscal Sales gas metering, Fuel gas metering, Gas Chromatographs, also Coriolis and Turbine condensate systems. With Spectra-tek S500, Floboss S600, Daniel 2500 flow computers and Meteor databases. Commissioning Metering skid and flow computers. Prover loop calibrations completed by Saybolt. Maintaining and storing metering results and liaising with representatives from BP, Centrica and the DTI during audits.

Working on all aspects of instrumentation on various chemical plants on Hunstman North Tees (Aromatics). Covering areas on Level, Temperature, Pressure and Flow, Trip testing and Instrument control loops. Fault finding. Reading from P&ID, Loop drawings. Fire and Gas testing. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance on a day to day basis.
