I have developed and managed the Sports and Entertainment Vertical business activities ($220 Million) of United Rentals along with the execution/management of partnerships with the PGA Tour, AEG, NFL, Indy Car and most recently NASCAR. Through organic sales and related association/stadium/venue client partnerships we identify, develop and manage pipeline of association/stadium/venue locations seeking rental services for their facilities. We utilize sports marketing practices to maximize B2B opportunities for United Rentals via stadium/track/course/Film/event partnerships, league and organization sponsorships and other sports-related relationships. Additional responsibilities:• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies across the Strategic Partnerships team in line with the company's business objectives of maximizing profitability and growing market share • Build and expand relationships with all strategic partners at all levels of the organization, while engaging in high level decision makers and C-suite executives • Manage athlete marketing efforts with PGA Tour players (Ryan Palmer, David Toms, Davis Riley, Adam Schenk) as well as partnerships with the NFL, PGA Tour, and NASCAR (Austin Hill, Ryan Preece.)• Effectively negotiate business terms and marketing opportunities to ensure proper value exchange • Expand our hospitality and marketing opportunities where we have an immediate ROI on the rental involved with that group. • Work with our United Rentals sales management to educate our staff on quality client entertainment and best practices to gain maximum exposure with limited expenditure.• Plan and execute customer experience event platforms such as the PGA Championship, Masters, NCAA Final Four, BCS Championship, FedEx Cup Championships, Daytona 500, Indy 500, as well as concerts, festivals, and resort activities. .
