Delivering the enabling work phase for the inlet and outfall tunnel structures for HP-C project. Leading the optioneering of the temporary works and craneage options for the SC1 Nuclear structures. The enabling works have involved 4000m3 of reinforced concrete which has been used to benchmark the quality required on the permanent works.

Severn Tunnel

I was Section Engineer for the Severn & Ableton Tunnels, part of the GWRM electrification programme. Managing the planning, H&S and quality for all aspects of the OLE installation of the tunnel for ABC. The chosen OLE system for the >7Km Severn Tunnel is the Furrer + Frey ROCS (Rigid Overhead Conductor Rail System). The majority of the works were completed.
