Since August 2007, I serve as the Arkansas State Film Commissioner overseeing the promotion, recruitment and development of the state’s film industry by marketing Arkansas to a national and international film clientele. As Film Commissioner, I manage the statewide Digital Product and Motion Picture Incentive Program; establish and maintain personal contacts with film industry representatives; scout and market locations; handle prospect requests for location and production assistance; act as primary liaison between the film industry and federal, state and local agencies; representing the Arkansas Economic Development Commission on production sets; and maintain current information on Arkansas’s available production service resources through arfilm.
