I joined Tesla during their "production Hell" phase. I truly felt that my military drive and industry experience has been instrumental in my success here. We have been able to improve our up time and thus allow production to meet the goals people thought were unreachable.

When I was placed on my shift I was the soul maintenance person for all issues. From any manufacturing equipment to safety issues and part of management. Priority was to ensure that all machines were operating safely and efficiently. I monitor and rebuild parts of a hydrocarbon system including pump rebuilds and sensor safety checks. I trouble shoot and repair our production systems including: Extrusion machines, Die Cutter as well as 3 other production lines. Performing preventive maintenance when scheduled and in the allowed time. Craft projects requiring designing, planning, and execution. From milling, machining to some welding and retro fitting. I communicate larger problems to members of the maintenance team and management for collaboration. I also completed my Six Sigma yellow belt which helped me get introduced to Lean Manufacturing.

As a service technician at Ricoh I helped maintain many levels of printing, scanning, and fax formats. This often including networking many devices for network and wireless print. Communicating future maintenance with office managers as to keep the highest level of efficiency possible. As always looking for ways to improve everyday efficiency at every location and ensuring the highest possible level of customer service.

Deployed to Iraq as security and transportation support in 2004-2005. Team leader after deployment for 18 months before moving into a career counselor position. Maintained 100% retention in my assigned units for 5 years.Kept a living spreadsheet of my new recruits areas of improvement and trained accordingly. Set up training plans for the next months training, safety risk assessments, and meals. In 2010 I had 125% retention. Was responsible for educational, financial and life goals of more than 1500 soldiers.

Contact customers to gather information regarding issues with services. Use customers information along with troubleshooting to diagnose and correct issues.
