Current• Responsible for 3 sites around the island and 30% of the organization’s workforce. • Administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to Workforcenow reporting, auditing, compensation, benefits, leave management, FONDO, FMLA, SINOT, COBRA, CFSE, Maternity, SSC, Military retirement plan and others.• Advise on disciplinary and employee performance challenges. Advise directors, managers, supervisors and other employees on employment law and company policies and/or procedures. Make administrative /procedural decisions and demonstrate judgment on sensitive and confidential matters.• Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations to resolve complex employee relations issues.• Build strong business relations with the organization’s leadership to understand and strategize around their current HR needs.• Avoid costs by auditing employee vacation and sick balances while supporting new policy implementations.• Prepare the biweekly payroll, make changes, adjustments and corrections corresponding to each period.• Develop, update and support Human Resources policies and procedures implementation, ensuring their effectiveness to achieve organizational objectives.• Design, implement and sustain the Wellness Program and employee related activities. Successfully launched and maintain the program in the Metro Centro Region and all other regions, achieving 60% of employee’s participation.• Responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle for the assigned regions, including but not limited to planning, sourcing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding process. Prepare and update job descriptions. • Update and organize employee files.
