As a compounding pharmacist I solve patient's medication problems utilizing creative and effective compounding solutions. I research new compounding formulas, acquire new chemical ingredients, consult with doctors, and counsel patients on optimal use of their compounded medication.

I managed all aspects of the pharmacy including hiring, inventory control, implementation of clinical and corporate programs, MTM services, immunizations, diabetes management programs, and patient counseling. The store increased in business significantly during my employment.

Responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of the pharmacy during my shift including staff supervision, order verification, clinical services (such as flu shots), patient counselling, inventory control, and implementing business plans by the company.

I worked under the direction of Dr. Panyam as part of a summer research program at Wayne State University. Research consisted of making and testing nanoparticles to be utilized in targeted drug and gene therapy. My responsibilities included bacterial plasmid gene isolation, particle testing, sterile cell culturing and manipulation, and drafting of research documents.
