Was assigned to U.S. Naval Security Forces, Bahrain from 1998 thru 2001; conducted anti-terrorism and force protection operations in support of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and U.S. Fifth Fleet units operating in the Persian Gulf Area. Supported security operations in response to the bombing of the U.S.S Cole in Aden, Yemen, in October 2000.
