I am also responsible for the Annual fire training of both military & civilian personnel, the daily running of the crash crew, give lessons to my colleagues and help to arrange all training for my crew on a day to day basis, I also make sure all servicing tasks are completed and updated to various computer programmes. Part of a 12 man domestic fire crew, I was responsible for the up keep and servicing of the station and vehicle equipment. I was part of a small Haz Mat technician team that was avaiable 24/7 to give specialist advice and was able to perform tasks in a hazardous environment should the need arise. I was also a red cross first responder for the entire station and would perform many stand by duties for sporting events.
