I founded ARCH after running one of the best sports recruitment sites in the country from 2004 to 2010. While operating the CCB Sports Network I also launched Sho-Shot footwear and apparel as a license holder.I launched ARCH in 2009. ARCH was my second footwear company. As I operated ARCH I also ran an extremely successful third party marketplace generating over 2.5 million dollars on Amazon from 2011 to 2016. My work in launching a private label while also operating a successful e-commerce platform has given me a depth of knowledge about the sneaker industry that rivals any analyst in the industry.I recently worked as an adjunct Professor at UT Austin (Fall 2019), but I spend most of my time utilizing ARCH as a catalyst for conversation around the marketing and business aspects of the sneaker industry. I was asked to write a paper on a business reemerging from bankruptcy as I worked on the book. COVID-19 hit in March 2020 and I didn't think the book on resale was appropriate. The white paper was cancelled and a speaking engagement along with it due to the quarantine. I took the book on StockX and rewrote it to create an analysis of resale and how it has shaped retail. I added in a discussion on the opportunities that remain in the sneaker industry in a post corona-virus world.
