Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching assistant for General Chemistry I (Fall 2019) and General Chemistry II (Spring 2020). During lab sessions, I ensured students learned good safety and experimental techniques, facilitated independent learning, and guided students to discover connections between the experimental and conceptual components of the course. During the Spring of 2020, I also assisted in transitioning General Chemistry II to an online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic by assisting with lecture video closed captioning and centering student needs by accommodating the new and unique learning environments many were rapidly thrust into 2/3 of the way into the semester.
