My previous position involved high throughput RNA extraction of clinical covid-19 samples. I also performed RT-PCR on samples when that section of the lab needed help. My other duties included testing for contamination on various work surfaces, Kit lot validation, new employee training, and temporarily served as a lab lead when needed. Multiple Years of Undergraduate Research at the University of California Riverside on the Emerald Jewel wasp Venom characterization project under Dr. Michael Adams. Another year of undergraduate research involving characterization of platinum nano-electrode behavior as well as investigating the cytotoxicity of silver nano-particles under Dr. Peng Sun at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona. I have multiple publications as a result of this work.
