Equity Partner and In-House Counsel for Triton Consulting--a communications consulting group that assists Municipal Utility Districts, Emergency Service Districts, and Special Purpose Districts in general, in there transition to electronic/ web-based applications: increasing transparency and access for board members and public, while saving taxpayer monies and increasing district efficiency. This also includes developing bond awareness campaigns and community engagement/ education plans, like "What is a MUD?" and "How are Water Districts funded?"As the joint Equity Partner, I handle the management of operations and assist client development. As In-House Counsel, I assist with outside litigation and direct HR/ Legal needs as needed.

The Harris County District Clerk's Office is probably best known by the general public for its jurisdiction over the summoning of prospective jurors for 74 courts. Juries are drawn from a jury wheel, which consists of names of registered voters and/or holders of a Texas driver's license or identification card.The Harris County District Clerk's Office has other far-ranging duties and plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of county government. In one of its more monumental tasks, the District Clerk's Office is responsible for custodial care and safekeeping of all court records for 59 District Courts and 15 County Criminal Courts located in Harris County. In conjunction with its court duties, the office also accounts for all monies paid as deposits on civil cases (causes) awaiting disposition and all funds awarded minors in court action that are paid into the court registry.In addition, the Harris County District Clerk has the important responsibility of providing customer service to all child support cases (causes) heard in Harris County.

Prepared technical reports and evaluations on potential patents and litigation; performed technical and legal research regarding patents, trademarks, and patent litigation. Analyzed trade journals, patents, and technical write-ups and prepared expert reports.

Performed Lead document management duties for Exchanger and Vessels . Reviewed and stamped drawings, load sheets, and calculations for department. Provided technical analysis of design drawings and project management oversight on subprojects. Created and modified tracking documents and drawings as need. Coordinated and assisted the lead as needed.

Worked with Sales in answering customer questions regarding product lines and worked with Product Engineering to trouble shoot customer problems. Generated technical literature: brochures, catalogs, handbooks, Society of Petroleum Engineer (SPE) papers; as well as product line performance sheets demonstrating product capabilities. Built calculators for Sales and Product Engineering, in conjunction with R&D, to generate valuable metrics pertaining to product lines. Interfaced with Industry via professional organizations to improve and maintain leading image amongst customers and competitors (Corporate Affairs roles).

Engineering Development Program: worked in every major division of Grant Prideco/ NOV. • Managed order production from customer concept to completed and shipped order. Oversaw and inspected each stage of production to insure quality. Generated financial reports and project bid proposals for customers. Designed and implemented drill bit tests; generated reports on findings. Interacted with field engineering to troubleshoot customer issues. Ran drill bits with sales and spent time on rigs repairing bits accordingly (testing). Assisted Senior Engineers on developing drawings and manufacturing specs for drill pipe orders. Conducted an overview of entire manufacturing process, write up report, and gave findings on how to improve. Conduct R&D project on developing “Dopeless Drill Pipe”; coordinated with Legal on IP issues, patents, and suggested future IP actions.
