In my current position as an Assistant Engineer at Diodes Incorporated., located in Hsinchu City, I have a range of responsibilities. One of my main tasks is to perform routine Preventive Maintenance (PM) according to the schedule and MMM (Manufacturing Maintenance Manual) procedures for the assigned tool set. This includes following specific checklists and documenting the maintenance activities in the PM checklist, as well as recording any relevant data and maintaining a complete history in the tool logbook.Additionally, I am responsible for troubleshooting and repairing routine unscheduled failures, ensuring that I identify the root cause and select the correct down code when closing out the call for the Equipment Engineer. This contributes to improving the Mean-Time between Failures (MTBF) for the equipment. To document these maintenance activities and failures, I utilize the Resource Viewer and Forum Notes equipment manufacturing tracking system database.Furthermore, I actively provide inputs and suggestions to the Department Manager, Supervisor, and/or Equipment Engineer to enhance the PM cycle-time, improve tool availability, ensure quality workmanship, reduce wafer scrap, and minimize the cost of ownership. By leveraging my technical expertise, I support the Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer in defining and writing effective preventive maintenance procedures.Overall, as an Assistant Engineer at Diodes Incorporated., I play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of the assigned tool set through routine preventive maintenance, efficient troubleshooting, and collaborative improvement initiatives.

During my tenure as an Engineering Team Leader and then become a Supervisor from November 2018 to June 2022 at HOP INN hotel, I assumed the role of inspecting site conditions to identify any potential hazards within the hotel premises. It was my responsibility to establish effective procedures and policies to mitigate and overcome these hazardous situations, prioritizing the safety of the staff and guests. I diligently conducted regular inspections to identify broken equipment, defective tools, and other potential hazards that could compromise the well-being of the workers. Additionally, I actively supervised the maintenance of the hotel premises, handled building management tasks, and efficiently resolved any troubleshooting issues that arose. I consistently prepared detailed reports on the engineering concerns of the hotel and implemented necessary improvements to ensure a smooth operation. My expertise also extended to detecting and rectifying malfunctions in the hotel's AC system, showcasing my proficiency in this area. Throughout my five years at HOP INN hotel, I have continuously strived to enhance my skills and diligently fulfill my duties, which ultimately led to my progression from an Engineering Associate to an Engineering Supervisor. During my tenure as a Junior Engineer at King Yuan Electronics Co., LTD. in Chunan, Miao-li, Taiwan R.O.C, from January 2010 to April 2014, I had the privilege of working in the Memory Final Testing Division. In this role, I was entrusted with several key responsibilities. Firstly, I was responsible for the setup and maintenance of Burn-in equipment and implementing preventive maintenance measures. Additionally, I actively participated in machine modification and improvement projects, aiming to enhance overall efficiency and productivity. I was proficient in setting up and troubleshooting all Cypress productions, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime. A crucial aspect of my work involved documenting project activities and preparing comprehensive engineering reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference. Furthermore, I took charge of the preventive maintenance of KYEC Oven in the Burn Section, meticulously maintaining its optimal performance. I also organized and managed equipment spare parts to ensure their availability when needed. Moreover, I excelled in repairing electronic equipment parts of the Oven, such as the Driver Board and Zone Board, effectively resolving any malfunctions. In addition to these responsibilities, I also repaired MBI Online systems in the Production Line. Daily monitoring of Cypress production was an essential task, allowing me to promptly address any issues that arose. Lastly, I held the responsibility of maintaining inventory for all Cypress BIB (Burn-in Boards) in the Burn Section, ensuring an accurate and well-organized stock.
