Started of my career with HVAC at Gulf Establishment. Over there I learned the basics of Excel and how to run inventory management. Although my core interest was in IT & tech, due to scarcity of opportunities in the field in a market like Kuwait, I opted for the first opportunity that came my way. Rather than feel low about not getting what I desired, I learnt the ins & outs of the job. I learnt the intricacies of stock management and inventory updating. In the meantime I kept myself updated with courses on CCNA and MS office. After about 8 years in the field I felt burnt out knowing this wasn't what I pictured my career to be. I really wanted to jump into the tech industry and fortunately an opening in Future Communications Company came up. It was an entry level spot. This was my window into an industry where I knew I could showcase my inherent skills in tech. And since it was a cloud solutions oriented company I got to venture deeper in cloud technologies such as Azure. I was exposed to VMS, security solutions, go live implementation etc.I created the reporting template that is still being used for monthly sales analysis and for sales man quarterly target analysis. From FCC is where I found my interest in Data analysis. Although I had no bespoke certification in the field it pricked my interest and I researched on the needed qualifications to make my career jump. The more I read about the job responsibilities the more I realized it was well up my ally and I ventured completely into it. I have currently on track to finishing up the Google Data Analytics certification and looking forward to the next chapter in my career path.
