Omh - Capital District Psychiatric Center - Central Business Office

Responsible for administering 73 statewide contracts over 7 different facilities and set up their renewals, amendments and replacements. I also ensure the vendors are able to receive payment, and budget the money over the contracts life. I draft contracts, bid documents, and any other forms needed as dictated by procurementtype, research and select any applicable vendors of the procurements invitation for bid, then set up the advertisement in New York State Contract Reporter. I have helped streamlined this process by designing easy to use, form fillable versions of commonly used documents and setting up canned e-mail and advertisement language.Coordinate with OMH Budget Office to set up payment channels, and distribute money around the contracts, facilities, and various pools of state money.I volunteer for on call emergency procurement support for statewide disasters as part of the New York State SURGE team with the NYS Office of the State Comptroller.

Received training in various positions in the Central Business Office in order to either improve standard operating procedures, or create brand new ones. Provided all new employees with facility orientation and basic State and Psychiatric Center HR policy training.Head of the Office of Mental Health's Citibank card program. Built current OMH procedures for evaluating applications and issuing all state travel and procurement cards from the ground up. Developed the employee procurement card responsibility package, and the plot sheet for expenditures. Evaluated and approved travel expenditure reports from OMH employees. Worked with employees business officers if any problems arose or required documents were omitted.
