North West and North East

• To ensure a high quality learning experience for all students which meets internal and external standards and delivers excellent outcomes.• To lead pastoral teams ensuring appropriate intervention ensuring great outcomes for all students• To ensure behaviour for learning is exemplary• Ensure written, verbal and diagnostic feedback is effective and develops colleagues.• To ensure the Academy is always fully compliant with in all areas of safeguarding including the SCR• Ensure attendance remains significantly above the NA• To ensure a culture of achievement is created and maintained• To lead the ‘Futures Programme’• To develop middle leaders (pastoral) and form high performing teams• To contribute to setting clear and challenging targets for each student that build on prior attainment • To be familiar with the needs of students with additional needs (DSEN and high PA) ensuring they progress in line with their peers nationally• To teach students according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work carried out in the Academy and elsewhere • To challenge under-performance of staff and ensure the highest of standards are maintained at all times• To have a pivotal role in Performance Management• To maintain discipline in accordance with Academy policy and to encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and homework • To assess, record and report on the attendance, progress, development and attainment of key cohorts of students and to keep accurate records as required • To lead on the provision of oral and written assessments, reports and references relating to individual students and key cohorts of students • To ensure teaching and learning areas are safe and inspiring• Ensure the SEF and ADP are robust and kept up to date in relation to your leadership area.Ofsted Full Inspection May 2016: The school’s work to promote pupils’ personal development and welfare is outstanding.
