Pursuing research in human centered computing, disinformation studies, and natural language processing. Daily work includes statistical analysis, processing extremely large text corpora, machine learning, and NLP.

As an undergraduate, I worked as a paid research assistant in Dr. Kogan’s research group. Performed a quantitative analysis of 17 million tweets using statistical and NLP methods to measure changes in political discourse. My results were published in the University of Utah's Undergraduate Research Journal in Summer 2021. For more details, see my presentation at the 2021 URS linked below.

I worked as a lab aide for the University's John R. Park debate society. I helped run high school debate tournaments and workshops, building small organizational apps with Python to help when needed. During the summer, I lectured and lead lab sessions for our high school debate camp.

At Cohere, I designed, implemented, trained, and deployed a set of two predictive and three text extraction models to production. All models ingested unstructured text from clinical notes and produced various insights to improve auto-approval rates.

At Crewe, I built a web app plugin for Excel which automated more than 80% of the steps required to compile financial reports on clients, saving advisors hours of time per week.

I developed, implemented, and maintained our online employee services, online inventory sheets, and other operational software in Google Apps Script. My managerial duties include basic customer service, training new employees, conflict resolution, dog management and repairing equipment.
