Roles and responsibilities:- Full accounting and costing responsibility for division across 15 sites, including internal paper mill with internal revenue of R470mil.- Management of centralized shared service for credit control, cash management, FOREX, account payables, procurement and general accounts. (total staff compliment 35)Achievements:- Stabilised and improved finance and reporting structures- Determined accurate plant profitability to identify focus areas and facilitate restructure- Remodeled weekly and monthly forecasting process- Successful management of working capital to shorten cash cycle and reduced overdue debt from 34% to 13%- Implemented full absorption costing methodology to improve business profitability and enable accurate business decisions
