Production Supervisor
Current• Develop daily production schedule based on current sales and target requirements. We had zero out of stocks due to scheduling issues.• Maintain safety on operations floor during daily production utilizing modern ergonomic techniques to prevent repetitive motion injuries.• Run weekly production meetings with all departments within facility. • Responsible for writing, scheduling and performing annual reviews. • Supervise line staff of 75 to 80 employees.• Chaired a very successful United Way campaign that resulted in over $28K of total donation to the United Way.• Leading the Wellness program at Libertyville by serving as the Wellness Champion.• Team leader for project working towards increasing the efficiency of assembly process and simplifying tool repair process resulting in an 17% improvement in line efficiency.• Team leader for project to decrease the amount of scrap parts on assembly line. Line scrap was reduced by 20%.• Chair of the investigation division of the Plant Safety Committee. Responsible for all investigations into any First Aid, Near Miss or Recordable injuries to get to the root cause and come up with a corrective action to prevent further incidents.
