Coordinated a program of approximately 45 boats for the Darien Parks and Rec commission. Educated 80 kids under the guidance of six JSA certified instructors on the basics of sailing. We revived this racing program consisting of 30 Optimist Parms and 6 Club 420 racers. Our program is 38 years old and when hurricane Sandy hit we lost our clubhouse at the beach. My primary duty was to make sure the kids were safe on the water and on the beach. That we had enough staff to properly teach everybody and to maintain the seven chase boats and 40 sailboats we need to accomplish this.
