-Researched predicting the regiochemical outcome of the Suzuki-Miyaura Coupling of 3,5-dichloropyridazine with phenylboronic acid by palladium(0) catalyst under the mentorship of Brandon Orzolek and Marisa Kozlowski. -High-throughput experimentation techniques were utilized for data collection involving the plating, executing, and monitoring 96 well plate reaction screens for over 250 ligands-This work was done with the end goal of creating a computational model with machine learning software that predicts the regiochemistry of the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction by use of reaction data and supercomputers to calculate electronic properties of the Pd(0) complexes -Aided in continual maintenance of HTE Center through fixing of vacuum pumps., assembly of gloveboxes, and replacement of chromatography system parts

Worked in Jen Wilcox's Clean Energy Lab as an undergraduate researcher. Worked in the laboratory on Mineral Carbonation seeking to improve carbon sequestration through formation of stable carbonates through reacting CO2 with naturally occurring magnesium, iron, and calcium present in industrial waste streams. Specifically drew on mineralogy techniques in using X-ray diffraction to carry out Phase ID, then rietveld quantitative XRD analysis to determine phase compositions of mineral samples. Also made use of Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) to determine composition. Also worked on Life Cycle Cost Analysis and Techno Economic Analysis for mineralization processes.
