I have 14 years of experience in product and technology development, industrialization, and manufacturing, focusing on gas turbine blades and vanes. In my current position I am leading a team of 20 development engineers. My group is responsible for the qualification and industrialization of coating, drilling, and finishing processes for GT blades at our internal factories and our external suppliers. I have worked on many challenging projects during my career, focusing on reducing costs, lead times and improving product quality using problem-solving skills, RCA’s, 8Ds and Six Sigma tools. Due to my bi-lingual education in high school (GER-ENG) I enjoy working in transatlantic teams.My LEAN expert training helped me understand the importance of conflict solving and coaching in creating high performing teams.
