I had many responsibilities as manager which included the delegation of responsibilities for small and large projects and dispatching drivers to the locations they were assigned to that day. Reviewed and approved payroll, DOT log books, truck maintenance documentation and legal documentation. I negotiated prices with customers to reach a fair price for all. I was responsible for pricing out all Bill of Ladings in order to be invoiced. I personally met with consultants and foremen so they could review and sign the invoices. Any concerns that were brought to my attention regarding the invoices were immediately addressed and resolved. Among all these responsibilities I was also required to supervise all employees to ensure a more streamline and safe process. I am always looking for ways to reduce cost in order to increase profit for the company. Those were my two most important goals, safety and profit.

I was a supervisor in the tanker truck devision of Select Energy in Pecos Tx. I was responsible for dispatching all drivers to the location that they would be working on for that day. I would price out field tickets that's the drivers had filled out for the job they worked on the day before. I was responsible for ensuring that all drivers followed safety procedures and policy. I helped the manager of our yard with his duties as well including payroll, schedules, PO's for parts needed in order for our mechanic to repair equipment and reviewing and implicating all new safety, DOT and company policies and procedures. Most of my time was devided between supervising in the field and working in the office with working in the field on location taking up much more of the time. Other portions of my time were spent meeting with consultants and production foremen discussing current and upcoming projects and getting invoices signed. I was fair to all employees and would always lend a hand to speed up the process along with giving advice on different procedures based on experience.

With Onyx I was an equipment operator and a location foreman. I primarily operated a bull dozer but also operates a back hoe and have a small amount of experience with operating a maintainer. While on location I was in charge of all paper work that included safety documentation such as JSA (Job Safety Analysis) being one. Also responsible for making sure different permits required to operate and excavate were correct and current. We primarily constructed structure pads for large drilling rigs and building along with large fresh/brine water pits used for fracing. Safety was the most important aspect of our work and maintained a safe working environment for all.

I started at Catalyst hauling Heavy equipment for construction. I began operating equipment such as a pack roller and a back hoe. I still hauled equipment but spent more time operating than hauling equipment. I moved up to operating a bull dozer and stated to primarily operate them at the end of my stay at Catalyst. The reason I left Catalyst Construction was due to them unfortunately shutting down all there operations in West Texas. I was required to keep a DOT driver log and completed a weekly maintainence form for the equipment I operated. I also performed preventative maintainence on my equipment daily. This included greasing the entire peice of equipment and checking different pressure points for stress damage.

I was a CDL driver for Diamond B and primarily hauled produced water from oil/gas wells to salt water disposals in the area. I also hailed fresh water to frac pits among several other things. I was responsible for keeping up with all legal documentation for the truck or equipment I was operating. I was also responsible for identifying mechanical or electrical problems and report them to our mechanics. I was responsible for keeping up with my driver logs and documents that are required by law. I kept my truck clean and treated it like it was my own. I filled out field tickets/Bill of Ladings completely and correctly. I was also responsible for working safely and wearing the proper PPE required. I strived to work efficiently and safely.

While being supervisor at this facility I had many resposabilities which included supervising staff in addition to insuring the safety and security of, sometimes very high profile, United States Marshall Service inmates. I was in charge of the security and integrity of the facilty and inmates, which required a great deal of multitasking and critical decision making at all times. One other skill that is highly required in this position is possessing competent and useful computer skills. One other, often under appreciated and unnoticed, is possessing great people and communication skills. The later is very important in this field of work as well as any job that requires trust, command and respect amongst other employees and customers. I have always felt that this position that I held for several years helped advance many of my skills that are invaluable and required in today's workforce.
