Christopher previously conducted research for the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering. Christopher’ research involved identifying 78 defining petroleum system and basin properties for the San Juan, Williston, Permian, and Western Canada basins. This research was included in the BASIN (Basin Analog System INvestigation) software database, created under the supervision of Dr. Walt Ayers. BASIN encompasses 25 unconventional North American Basins and is used in exploring unconventional frontier basins.He has since completed the Landmark Software and Services Fast Track IV program. His training included OpenWells, EDM Administration, Profile, Data Analyzer, AutoSync, iWellFile, COMPASS, StressCheck, CasingSeat, WellCost, WellCat, WELLPLAN, and SQL Server Management Studio Express. Chris now assists the Service Advisory Board at Landmark and serves as an instructor for the COMPASS, StressCheck, CasingSeat, and WELLPLAN applications in North America, Italy, Nigeria, Ghana, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. His Petroleum Engineering background has enhanced his understanding of Landmark’s software applications.
