Combining his meteorology education (Rutgers University, B.S 2006-2010) alongside 10+ years of experience at Noble Americas and now MBF Trading, Christopher DeVito has developed skills in understanding how the weather affects the North American commodities markets. His main responsibilities are to provide and communicate time-sensitive weather information/changes (including short-term, medium and long-range forecasts) essential for trading natural gas, power and agriculture futures contracts.Aside from academics and his experience thus far in the commodities sector, Chris has held several other past positions including as a weather forecaster with the private company WeatherWorks and an intern with the National Weather Service forecast office in Mount Holly, NJ. This experience played an integral role in developing and sharpening his forecasting skills.Going forward Chris will continue to pursue knowledge about his field and explore its uses in commodities markets and business.
