Duality is my watchword and dependability my cornerstone! The ability to be my own devil’s advocate, while problem-solving, is my greatest strength, and at times, a weakness of sorts (when my questions lead to a point of overthinking). I require value in what I participate in, especially in terms of long-term ventures such as a job or career. Being a medic in the Army for the last five years has given me a huge variance of skills. Most of these skills were unexpected when I enlisted, and I feel more than capable of successfully completing and excelling in any task within my job title(s). The opportunities I have taken advantage of to cross-train with others (those within organizations I have been lucky enough to be a member of) have given me the confidence to complete tasks outside of my job title as well. I truly feel that with education and training I am capable of anything I put my effort into. There is nothing I enjoy more (at work) than finding synergy with a team member or team members. It is an awesome feeling to know you are preparing for the next step in their work process, or to not need to question that they are doing the same for you. I find working well with someone and great communication can make the hardest and most daunting work enjoyable. My Goal in having a LinkedIn account is to expand my job search as I transition out of the military. I am interested in administrative work; medical, executive, and otherwise. I am also interested in tactical and survival trauma medicine (more so teaching than practical application).
