One of the most rewarding things I do as a financial advisor is help people rewire their thinking about retirement. I challenge them to focus less on what they will need and more on how they want to use their wealth to create a satisfying life. I ENJOY WORKING WITH: A select group of clients who are willing to have open, honest, productive conversations about their financial lives. My clients range from corporate executives to widowed and divorced women who are learning to take control of their finances. I believe in listening carefully and speaking from the heart to help them get to the root of their values, hopes and concerns.I FOCUS ON: Retirement income planning strategies, with an emphasis on managing risk. No matter how much they have accumulated, many people are concerned about out-living their wealth. I try to reduce their preoccupation with "now" and help them visualize the life they want to live in retirement. Often, a satisfying life is less about possessions than leaving a legacy or making memories with children and grandchildren. I can help clients create strategies for philanthropy, gifting to children, and other objectives.
