Student Employee
I simultaneously held 3 jobs while attending classes full-time. In all these positions, I worked entirely, or at least partially, unsupervised. These jobs included: • Mott Library Lab Assistant - I opened and closed the lab and assisted patrons with computer/software/printing issues. I was responsible for ensuring our patrons followed lab policy, and I trained new employees. • Mott Testing Center Aide - I opened and closed the center, and I distributed tests and testing materials according to procedure. I was responsible for ensuring the integrity of each exam by, but not limited to, properly filing and recording completed exams, enforcing school policy against cheating, and limiting exposure of exams from anyone outside of staff. • Mott Math and Science Office Clerical Aide - This was the official title I was given, for budgetary reasons, so I could start the chemistry tutoring program. I helped students achieve a better understanding of the concepts of chemistry, not only by helping with both the online and classroom work, but by reintroducing concepts using a unique perspective and through association with more common concepts.
