This included the creation of a TEAMs… Show more Personal Achievements:I have represented DE&S business and engineering interests at the Defence Space Capability Framework conference to UK Defence Space Industry realising the aims of the integrated review and at the UK Space Conference 2023.I identified and implemented best practice for managing Learning from Experience (LFE) within the Space Delivery Team, which resulted in addressing a quality management gap that I identified within the team. This included the creation of a TEAMs interactive tool, creation and management of the associated LFE area, and creation and publish of LFE procedure. I led DE&S project engineering delivery and capability integration of the MOD ground segment (ISTARI) programme. This earned me repeated corporate recognition for establishing new rapid prototyping agile commercial frameworks, a first for the Delivery Team, and pioneering across DE&S. I was also commended for negotiating and managing an effective contract for Space Commands first ground station following DE&S inheritance of the contract.Duties:Lead engineer in programmes delivering Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance Operational Concept Demonstrators. I directly led the engineering delivery and cross functional capability integration of the PRIMUS (Satellite ground station), BEROE (Mission Control System software) Projects into a cohesive ISTARI ground system. I made risk-based decisions along the way, gaining corporate recognition for going above and beyond as a DE&S top performer.I was lead presenter representing the entire 86 member crew of the International Space University, Interactive Space Program 2020 on the Innovative Approaches of Utilising Space for the Monitoring and Mitigation of the Covid-19 crisis and for the Preparedness and Prevention of Future Pandemics. This report has since been presented to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPOUS).I have developed a wide network of knowledge, people, and contacts within Space Domain Awareness, Ground Segment, and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance. This includes Civil Space Suppliers and Subject Matter Experts, UK Space Agency, ESA, UK RAF and Space Commands, and DSTL. I have represented DE&S business and engineering interests in defining the strategic direction for the Defence Space enterprise at UK Government Space Integrated Review Workshops. I served as a graduate in DE&S's Defense Engineering Science Graduate (DESG) Scheme. This scheme was made up of 5 placements over a variety of areas. Through the scheme I was able to develop my engineering skill set, and I was able to accumulate experience in all engineering competencies. I particularly developed my project management skill set and became a highly competent speaker.
