Presently serve as the Vice President, Provider Services and Contracting for St. Luke's Physician Group ("SLPG"), an affiliate of St. Luke's University Health Network ("Network"), a leading non-profit healthcare network headquartered in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. Through my talented team, I am responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing agreements for SLPG's approximately 1,700 employed physicians and advanced practitioners, and community providers, as well as addressing questions and concerns related thereto. I am also responsible for ensuring Fair Market Value in all provider arrangements, proactively reviewing same to maintain compliance, and providing regular education regarding same. In addition, I serve as a SLPG legal and business resource for practice acquisitions of all sizes, from solo providers to multi-specialty groups. Finally, in collaboration with other SLPG and Network executive leaders, I work closely with business stakeholders to determine and implement SLPG and Network strategies.

Served as the Vice President and U.S. Counsel for the U.S. subsidiaries of UDG Healthcare plc ("UDG"), including most notably Ashfield Healthcare LLC and Sharp Corporation; Regularly advised U.S. and global executives and leadership on organizational strategies and risk concerns, among operational issues; Drafted, reviewed and negotiated commercial contracts of varying complexity relied upon by UDG's U.S. subsidiaries on a local and global basis; Managed U.S. legal department personnel; Personally oversaw all litigation matters impacting U.S. operations; Acted as Secretary on boards of UDG's U.S. subsidiaries.

Served as in-house counsel in a fast-paced, results-driven Legal Department for a 1,200-plus employee hospital network; Advised senior administration and business line leaders on organizational strategies; Negotiated, prepared and reviewed contracts and agreements of varying scopes and complexity for business units and physicians; Managed litigation in all areas impacting the organization; Completed practice and new service line mergers and acquisitions; Personally oversaw and evaluated employee and patient safety events from all locations throughout the organization to manage risk; Performed legal research for a highly regulated and compliance-driven industry; Proactively created and revised network policies.

Practiced in a high volume office with the firm’s Commercial and Insurance Litigation, Construction, and Healthcare departments; Litigated claims from pre-suit to post-trial in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts; Participated in mediations and arbitrations; Negotiated and settled a high volume of cases within established authority; Negotiated and drafted commercial agreements; Prepared reports on risk, liability and exposure for claims personnel.

Practiced in the firm’s Commercial and Insurance Litigation departments; Litigated insurance matters in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and federal courts; Reviewed and evaluated outside counsel fees on behalf of insurance company clients; Performed legal research on insurance, litigation, and coverage issues; Negotiated and drafted commercial agreements; Navigated bankruptcy issues impacting large commercial clients; Prepared white papers on healthcare and insurance issues.
