I'm currently supporting the planning and delivery of four New Towns across Essex that will collectively deliver transformational infrastructure and over 40k homes. In support of two of these projects I was heavily involved in successful Housing Infrastructure Fund grants worth over £300m which will see the delivery of new sustainable transport connections at North Chelmsford and at the Tendring Colchester Borders Garden Community.Prior to this I was lead planner for several strategic new settlements in North Essex, a role funded by four local authorities that involved working closely with a range of public and private sector development professionals. I have a thorough knowledge of the planning system including appearances as an expert witness at Local Plan examinations and public inquiries.
