Postdoctoral studies in molecular imaging.- Conceived of and developed direct enzymatic radiofluorination of proteins. Rapid, high yielding and site-specific labeling in mild, aqueous conditions. Platform technology with broad applicability.- Designed, synthesized and tested self-immolating fluorescent probes targeted to the cyclooxygenase enzymes, key oncologic biomarkers.- Generated and characterized fluorescently-labeled antibodies to image the expression of key biomarker in breast cancer. Tested resulting probes in murine xenograft models.

Elected as chairman and served 6 month term, during which time the committee implemented new regulations for the development and use of SOPs for particularly hazardous chemicals.
