In 1996 the Main Street inn circa 1873 was purchased in Highlands North Carolina . The Inn went through a one year historic renovation of the 20 suites and resturant and has resumed its position as the premiere boutique hotel in Highlands NC. Starting Arc Works Design's legacy in 1992 as a Realestate Developer of Historic boutique Resort/Hotel properties was the purchase and restoration of the Bungalow Beach Resort on Anna Maria Island, Bradenton Beach Fl. A 15 unit 1939 collection of army barracks which were floated over to the island and later used as one of the first fish camps on Bradenton Beach .
