Each step of progress has been unique and exciting. Starting at the bottom was the best way for me to know this business inside and out. I was able to see every facet of a project, enabling me to make the right judgement calls and run jobs later on as I advanced with the company. I was able to travel a great deal and discovered quickly that having a profession did not mean being stuck behind a desk 40 hours a week. Though this type of work is not for everyone, it was the best fit for me and learned to love my job.
